Meet Dr. Harmeet Waraich
A Passion for Eye Care & Patient Well-Being
Dr. Harmeet Waraich brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Scottsdale Optometry. His eye care journey began with a medical degree from Government Medical College Patiala (India) in 1997. In 2006, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology at IG Medical College Shimla (India), where he practiced as a General Ophthalmologist, providing both medical and surgical treatment for a wide range of eye conditions.
After relocating to Canada in 2009, Dr. Waraich furthered his education through the International Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo. He graduated as Class Valedictorian in 2012, transitioning into optometry while integrating his ophthalmology experience with advanced optometric care. He also served on the Board of the College of Optometrists of British Columbia from 2021 to 2024.

Beyond the Clinic
Outside of work, Dr. Waraich enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in Surrey. He has a passion for cricket, golf, reading, and music. His love for learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in eye care ensures that his patients receive the best possible treatment.
